Understanding and managing your cash flow is one of the most important aspects of a successful business. It is well documented that maintaining liquidity in your business is just as important as generating a profit.
With this in mind, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 will provide improved features for Cash Management. The R2 release for Dynamics NAV 2013 will offer simple registration for payments, electronic bank statement import, and automated bank reconciliation saving time and reducing errors when reconciling your cash flows.
At Fenwick Software we have taken the Cash Flow enhancements one step further. I am excited to announce the upcoming release of our newest Fenwick Gold module – the Fenwick Gold Cash Flow Statement.
Extending on the standard Cash Flow functionality present in Dynamics NAV 2013, the Cash Flow Statement allows you to classify each of your General Ledger accounts to a specific area within your Cash Flow Statement, it will then dissect your historical bank account transactions to present you with a detailed Cash Flow Statement for the period you wish to analyse.
Once the entries have been classified, you can then report this information using standard NAV Account Schedules, so you can analyse your actual Cash Flow against forecasted Cash Flow. Further, by utilising the Advanced Account Schedules and Report Distributor modules of Fenwick Gold, you can enhance formatting and automate the distribution of these reports to your key finance team members on a regular basis.
If you are still using a prior version of Dynamics NAV this is not a problem – the Fenwick Gold Cash Flow Statement can be applied to prior versions of NAV, and it uses standard Dimension functionality to offer equivalent reporting options.
Analysing and reporting your Cash Flow in Dynamics NAV has never been so easy. For more information, contact one of our consultants today.
