Some say birthdays are just a number; others go out of their way to celebrate; and others do quirky things just because 40 is a significant milestone. I celebrated my own 40th not so long ago, and I had to ask myself how I wanted to celebrate. I had done my share of partying and doing crazy things so they were no longer an exciting option. After thinking long and hard, I decided to do a photo shoot as a gift to myself. The focus of the photo shoot was to capture my essence; remember where I have come from; and bring out all that makes me, ME! The day involved meditating, focusing and surrendering to aspects of me and let them come out and be captured. What an amazing gift.
Similar questions were being pondered when thinking about celebrating Fenwick’s 40th., but it was a no-brainer!
