Security and privacy
The assistant uses your business data in a secure, compliant, privacy-preserving way to deliver accurate, relevant and contextual results. The large language models (LLMs) are not trained on your data, and your data never leaves its secure partition.
For each user, Copilot works similarly to Microsoft 365 today: it only accesses data that the user is already allowed to view. This access is managed by the same established technology that has been securing customer data in Microsoft 365 apps for years.
