Fixed Setup Time is a new field on all routing lines (Item, Planning, Production Orders).

When Setup Time is altered in production due to Setup Time Entries, Fixed Setup Time ensures a minimum value, to which any applicable Setup Time Entries will add to.

The following rules apply to the Setup Time calculation:

  1. If there are no Setup Time Entries applicable to a production order routing line, then the production order routing lines’ setup time will remain unchanged.
  2. If there are applicable Setup Time Entries and Fixed Setup Time is 0, then the production order routing line’s setup time is calculated from the applicable Setup Time Entries.
  3. If there are applicable Setup Time Entries and Fixed Setup Time is not 0, then the production order routing line’s setup time is calculated from the Fixed Setup Time plus the applicable Setup Time Entries
