When creating consignments, it’s a requirement to specify the packages unit of measure. Pack-It allows for Package Unit of Measures to be saved in Business Central, although the unit of measure will need to be mapped based on your providers unit of measure types.
Mapping Package Unit of Measure to SmartFreight Carriers allows you to use the same Package Unit of Measure across different carriers or use a different code from the Item Description in SmartFreight.
To map a SmartFreight Package Unit of Measure:
- Locate and open the Package Unit of Measure Mapping page.
- Create a new line for each Package Unit of Measure and Shipping Agent you wish to associate.
- Repeat Step 2 for each Package Unit of Measure and Shipping Agent you wish to map.
